Return Material Authorization
All returns require an RMA number. Click on the Download RMA Form button on the right and save the RMA Number Request Form to your computer. Completely fill out the form and e-mail it or fax it to an AMI Technical Support Representative. The e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org and the fax number is +1 (818) 890-3724. Returns will be authorized in accordance with the following policy: if it is deemed that the equipment or components should be returned, an Arc Machines, Inc. representative will issue an RMA number within 48 business hours of your request.
Equipment being returned for warranty repair (Service) must be within the applicable warranty period. For any product that has been disassembled, modified, or exhibits signs of tampering the warranty shall be null and void and in most cases, will result in repair charges. Arc Machines, Inc. is under no obligation to provide a “no charge” failure analysis.
Equipment being returned for repair that is no longer within the warranty period or for damage not covered by the warranty, Arc Machines, Inc. will provide a quote to the customer of the estimated cost of the repair(s). Acceptance of the quote will be submitted in the form of a purchase order, customer account number, or credit card number. This will be considered authorization to repair and agreement to pay for the cost of repair. Repairs resulting in a cost of repair greater than 10% of quote will be submitted for approval by customer prior to the repair(s) being completed. Unless otherwise requested, products that are repaired or serviced are restored to serviceable condition (not “like new”) and are provided with a 90 limited warranty.
Warranty Returns and Exchanges
Purchases of equipment and/or components from Arc Machines, Inc. that is or becomes defective through no fault of the buyer, the buyer may be entitled to a replacement or exchange. Equipment being returned or exchanged must have the process initiated 15 calendar days from the date it was received. Products to be returned or exchanged for warranty coverage must be within the applicable warranty period. If the customer requests that a replacement be sent immediately, the replacement product will be billed to the customer's account in accordance with Arc Machines, Inc. standard payment terms. Once the defective equipment has been received, inspected, and accepted, a credit will be issued if the warranty claim is approved. Defective equipment must be returned within 10 business days of shipment of replacement equipment.
Made to Order Returns
The return of made to order products is not accepted by Arc Machines, Inc.
Stock returns must be made within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. Authorization of stock returns is at the sole discretion of Arc Machines, Inc. If a stock part is authorized for return and is a customer error, 40% of the purchase price will be applied as a standard restocking charge. Parts must be new, unused, and contain all the original packaging, instruction manuals, and accessories. There is no restocking charge due to errors by Arc Machines, Inc. if correct order information was furnished with the order.
The customer (Buyer) is responsible for all transportation, insurance, duties and other similar charges for all returned product in compliance with Arc Machines, Inc. Sales Terms And Conditions. The customer must ensure the equipment is appropriately packaged; it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the equipment arrives at Arc Machines, Inc. in its original condition. Shipping damages resulting from improper packaging will be the customer's responsibility. Products shipped to Arc Machines, Inc. freight collect will be refused. All items from the original shipment including accessories and documentation must be returned.
By choosing to request an RMA number from Arc Machines, Inc., it is implied that the customer has agreed to the terms of the Arc Machines, Inc. RMA Policy.
