Re-positions the electrode axially from the center of the weld head closer to one side. This reduces the required stick-out length of fittings, valves, etc. Available for the following weld heads: 8-2000, 8-4000, 8-6625, 9-1500, 9-2500, 9-3500, 9-4500, 9-7500. (Specify 1/16” or 3/32” electrode)

Bench Mount Bracket:
Provides secure support for the Model 9 and Model 8 series weld heads when not in use or when welding at the bench. This stainless steel bracket may be bolted, c-clamped or welded to a bench. Included with the Model 9-250 and Model 9-500 welding heads as standard equipment. |

Cable Jackets:
Ideal for cleanroom use. Designed to provide a smooth outer surface to the weld head cable, making them more cleanable. They also serve to protect the cables and connectors from dirt and damage. These jackets are easily installed or removed in the field, and are available for all Model 9 and Model 8 series weld heads.

Fitting Support Mandrel:
This specialized tool makes ferrule-to-fitting welds possible. The tool supports the pre-tacked assembly in the weld head and includes a port for an I.D. purge. |

Purge Mandrel Tool:
Aligns and holds (prior to manual or orbital welding) sanitary ferrules and other similar fittings. Includes a port for I.D. (back-up) purge. |

Tungsten Electrodes:
Arc Machines’ own precision ground, cut-to-length electrodes increase weld repeatability and last longer than those which are not machined to our exact standards. Made from non-radioactive Sylvania 2% ceriated tungsten. Packaged in quantities of 10. |

Tube Alignment Gauge:
Used to automatically align the weld joint to the electrode. Increases productivity on benchwork applications or where visibility of the weld joint to the electrode is limited. Available for the 9AF-750, 9-1500, 9-2500, 9-3500 and 9-4500 weld heads. |

| Cables: Weld head extension cables: Available in 25, 50 and 75 ft. lengths. Model 9 or Model 8 adapter cables: For interfacing Model 9 or Model 8 series weld heads to Arc Machines’ Models 227 or 215 power supplies. Model 207 interface and extension cables for: Three-channel chart recorder, external fault sensors, foot controls, remote start switch and other external devices. |

Conversion Kits (see chart below): The Model 9 weld heads are available in numerous styles: Standard, AF, E, and Cassette types. Kits are available to convert one type to another. (e.g.: Model 9-1500 can be converted to a Model 9E-1500, 9AF-1500 or 9CT-1500.) These are both cost-effective and versatile.
Shipping / Storage Case: (For Model 9 and Model 8 heads) Made from high-impact plastic, and reinforced with an extruded aluminum rim, a continuous hinge and heavy-duty latches. Each case is fitted with a universal foam insert, and will hold up to three weld heads. |

Conversion Kits for All Model 9 Weld Heads
|
Most Model 9 series weld heads may be converted to an alternate configuration (Model 9, 9AF, 9E, or 9CT) by installing a conversion kit. For example: A basic Model 9-1500 may be converted to a 9E-1500, 9AF-1500, 9CT-1500 or vice-versa. The conversion takes 5-10 minutes, using only a screwdriver and a hex wrench.
