The Model 43 is an inside diameter welding head for I.D.cladding or welding of pipe joints or other applications. It is a rugged; field-proven weld head and has been used extensively in nuclear repair and nuclear components assembly plants as well as fossil power generation, chemical, and vessel manufacturing.
- Rugged, reliable I.D. weld head with 300 amp GTAW torch
- Range from 6.750” I.D. to 24” I.D. (171 - 610mm) with direct-view color TV cameras
- Pneumatically operated cylinders that center and position the weld head
- Extremely fast mount / dismount times
- Automatic arc voltage control
- Cross-seam steering
- Synchronized torch oscillation and pulsed wire feed
- Remote-control torch tilt plus/minus 15 degrees (cross-seam)
- Built-in wire feeder and wire spool holder
- Compatible with Arc Machines’ Model 215 or Model 415 power supplies
