Fixed Automation
When Arc Machines noticed several of our customers mounting a Model 15 orbital pipe weld head on a flat track for in-place welding using a positioner, we decided a new product line was in order. The Arc Machines Model 2 concept is a very flexible modular approach to fixtured welding. In many automated or robotic weld applications the robot or a controller simply turns the welding power supply ON or OFF. The Arc Machines approach is to use the computerized control capability of the Model 415 power supply to control not only the welding, but the positioning location and travel (or rotation speed) as well.
