Dear Ken,

I just wanted to give you some feedback on some Arc Machines 9E-1500 weld heads, that were used on a project in which we were recently involved. In a word, they were excellent.

The heads were used in an unfriendly environment: Piping heavily coated in magnetite, tight access to the weld, heavy handed operators, and a polyethylene washer in each joint (which melted during the welding process). Despite these conditions the heads performed consistently, producing welds with an extremely low repair rate. Also, each head performed approximately 300 welds without any maintenance or cleaning.

Although it was our customer's personnel who actually operated the heads, we (B&W) were directly involved as technical advisors and witnessed the welding operations on an ongoing basis throughout the project.

All in all, the quality of this welding equipment allowed us to provide a top notch product for our customer. Thanks again for your prompt service and assistance in making this project successful.
