ELECTRONIC REPAIR TECHNICIAN

REPORTING TO: DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Three (3) years experience in similar environment.  Strong communication skills, experience with Microsoft Operating systems (9x and NT based), and software testing methodology a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for routine assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of sophisticated industrial equipment.

2. Troubleshoot systems with combination of above circuits and diagnose to component level using digital or analog test equipment including oscilloscopes.

3. Assemble, test, and collect data for electronic circuits and build assemblies from schematics, rough sketches and/or verbal instructions.

4. Communicate with customers in order to evaluate/diagnose problems on-site and/or discuss necessary repairs for equipment shipped to the company.

OTHER REQUIRMENTS:

Knowledge of basic AC/DC circuits, solid-state components, circuits (diodes, transistors, voltage regulators, amplifiers, etc.), amplifier circuits and digital logic elements.

1. Travel throughout the United States may be requested, but is not an absolute requirement.
