The 150 Amp fusion welding Power Supply - designed for high purity tube & fittings applications used in semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, aerospace, nuclear and food & dairy industries - has undergone a 2 year upgrade. It is the smallest and lightest orbital tube welder on the market with an intuitive and easy-to-use large, 12” (305 mm) color touch screen display. This Power Supply is capable of operating virtually all its competitor's weld heads.

The EPS-1500 uses the patented S³ orbital weld schedule to simplify the programming & troubleshooting associated with multi-level welds. Programming is so easy that, with only a few minutes of training, an experienced orbital welder can write multi-level, multi-pass, stepped or S³ welding programs and inexperienced welders can be trained in a fraction of the normal time.

The Re-engineered Exel Weld Heads are capable of welding components from 1/8” (3,175 mm) to 2” (50,8 mm) and are equipped with unique and patented features. Superior clamping & ease of alignment, coupled with rugged, air-cooled construction can lower maintenance and operating costs. There is a slim line range for restricted access welds.

Exel’s Patented SG1 Pressure Controller is the first automatic pressure controller for orbital tube welding of 1/8” (3,175 mm) to 6” (152,4 mm) tube or pipe. This stand alone unit can be used with any manufacturer’s welding equipment.
